I wanted to try to open and clean this taken years ago by a tachometer 63.
To remove the outer ring to which it is attached is to build the glass carefully with a boxcutter or a very thin blade around the circumference.
Avoid touching the needle because it breaks very easily.
I simply wiped with the polish and the outer ring of the dial and degreasing the glass.
Council of the mechanical grease with lithium grease.
